Ceramic Hair Straighteners

Ceramic hair straighteners – 3 steps for cleaning If you do not clean up those build ups that are left onto your hair straightener’s ceramic plates, they might eventually reach a breakage. That’s why you must take all the time you need for cleaning up the plates each week or the every other day. Consider these 3 steps for doing it right. 1. When you’re done with using the hair straightener, immediately unplug it. Then let it cool down for a while. Also ensure that it’s left at a safer location, where it has little chance of burning anything. When the iron gets fully cooled down, soak a soft clean rag into some clean water. Then wring that out for gently wiping down the entire iron, along with its ceramic plates.

2. If there still are some build up wedged to those plates despite your wiping with that rag, you might consider using a quality cleansing solution. And if you’re not currently able to buy that kind of solution, you may make an effective one all by yourself. You can prepare your homemade cleansing solution by soaking some paper towels in some alcohol. 3. Then use that paper towel to tenderly scrub the styling tool. Stay away from using anything too abrasive (e.g. pot scrubbers, wire brushes). Using too abrasive things has every possibility of damaging the plates. If you have to keep scrubbing for while, your soaked paper towel can tear. In that case throw it away and commence by soaking another one. The idea here is to keep repeating this cleansing process till all those gunks are off. Then just dry the plates up with a dry rag.
